I tried so hard and got so far...

What's with all the cooking shows? I mean, seriously...the Food Network's Next FN Star debuted last night, Hell's Kitchen on FOX debuts tonight, and Top Chef on Bravo debuts on the 13th. Good gracious. Why do we need to watch like...30ish people cook? Over and over? Don't get me wrong, I'll probably watch them all, but by the fifth episode, I'll have watched that times 3 and by then, I'll probably be sick of it. Why not have one each season? So if I don't want to watch American Idol every day, I can watch a foody reality show... sounds good to me. I like food, just not in large doses.

And it's Alton Brown, not Elton, for anybody that read the last post and cares that I got it wrong. And for Alton, because he probably gets annoyed that people spell his name wrong.

In other news, I actually did work today! I know, I surprise myself. And I actually have two articles ready to go for this week, but I should probably write more, right? Write. I mean right. Right.

I think what I shall do tomorrow is A. wake up at a decent hour. Like, before noon. B. Upload some hangPROUD thingies and C. organize my writerly things. Like my research and all of my published things and unpublished things that could be published and the loads of crap that I like to write but wouldn't dare show anyone. Ever.

AND, speaking of hangPROUD, I've gotten an update! We have forty-five ish members right now (and if you aren't one of them, go to www.hangproud.com and join! :nudge:) and have sold 21 shirts in ONE WEEK! Woot! :dance: There are some pretty cool things going on, marketing-wise, which I will share if everything works out like I hope it will. Until then, my lips are sealed :P
